Dr. Giannopoulos is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and has ample expertise in Obstetrical and Gynecologic care. Dr. G also has extensive experience in both Obstetrical and Gynecologic surgery, including minimally invasive surgery and Robotic surgery.
Dr. Giannopoulos received her undergraduate education at Fordham University – Lincoln Center, completing the pre-medical program and graduating with a Bachelor of Science. She then participated in research essential to the medical field. Dr. Giannopoulos attended American University of Antigua College of Medicine, an internationally recognized medical school which provided education of the highest quality.
Dr. Giannopoulos completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency training at Morristown Medical Center and graduated as Chief Resident and certified in Robotic Surgery.
After her extensive training, Dr. Giannopoulos obtained her New York State Medical Licenseand joined a prestigious private practice in Garden City, New York, where she continues to practice. Dr. Giannopoulos performs deliveries and surgeries at New York University Langone.

This specialty is unique, and I truly enjoy the continuity of care—from adolescence, through pregnancy, to menopause—and the opportunity to form lasting relationships with my patients. I was drawn to the mix of medical and surgical challenges, and to the ability to make a significant impact on both maternal and fetal health.
What specifically inspired me was the first time I delivered a baby as a medical student during my Obstetrics rotation. It was the most meaningful experience I have ever had.
